We would like to make your visit to the Miffy Museum as pleasant and safe as possible, also in times of Covid-20. However, the coronavirus affects the way you visit the museum. That is why these house rules apply since 1 June 2020 (reopening date for Dutch Museums)
Every visitor needs an online ticket with start time. Even if you have free access, for example with a Museum Card or children aged 0-1. In the ticket shop you choose a day and a start time. Because national measures can change, only tickets for the coming weeks are available. Tickets for later dates will be added as soon as possible. A limited number of visitors are admitted every ten minutes. This way it will not get too busy, and it is possible to keep one and a half meters away from other visitors and employees. Be on time, but not too early. Order tickets now
Do not come to the museum in case of Covid-19 related health complaints. Visitors are welcome if they and their housemates have not had health complaints for at least 24 hours prior to the visit.
To help manage social distancing, most areas of the museum will use one way systems and we ask visitors to follow any signage or advice from staff. Here’s the actual Floorplan.
If you come with a baby or child who is not yet able to walk, please bring a baby carrier. Due to the new layout, there is little space to store strollers or buggies. These can be brought into the museum. Take as little stuff as possible to the Miffy Museum. There are lockers, but space is limited. Due to the corona rules, ‘Miffy’s house’ is now in use as wardrobe.
Eating and drinking is not allowed in the Miffy Museum. You may take a small snack or something to drink for your children in the ‘Art room’ (on the top floor). We would like to refer you to Museum Café Central across the street.
In order to receive as many visitors as possible, we kindly request you to stay for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
To avoid congestion in the museum rooms, photography and video recording are temporarily not permitted.
