This programme is designed for day-care centres and focuses on farm animals and life on the farm. Together with a professional play facilitator, john’s farm is explored: the farmyard with animals, the haystack and the shed. Sweep, pet, count and sort – there is plenty to do. Afterwards, you will watch the 360-degree projection boris and the umbrella. The programme can be extended with a scavenger hunt at one of Utrecht Natuurlijk’s city farms. At the entrance to each city farm, there is a sign marking the starting point.

This preschool programme is specially designed for children and their parents or caregivers to further develop their Dutch language skills. Together with a professional play facilitator, you explore john’s farm and learn about the farm animals. Dutch words are introduced in a playful way, with plenty of opportunity to explore and look around in small groups. The programme links the farm theme to artworks from the Centraal Museum featuring animals. Activities take place at the preschool, in the miffy museum and at one of Utrecht Natuurlijk’s city farms.

This programme is specially designed for after-school care groups. Together with a professional play facilitator, you explore a themed room in the miffy museum and watch the 360-degree projection boris and the umbrella. Dick Bruna’s illustrations are brought to life in a playful way as an introduction to visual art. Afterwards, an assignment takes place in the art studio, where everyone can get creative. At the end, there is time to explore the rest of the museum independently.
