Childcare centres
The Miffy Museum is keen to contribute to the development of toddlers and pre-schoolers and has created programmes for various childcare and kindergarten groups. Please note that these programmes are available in Dutch only.
Farmer John's farm
- Visit to the miffy museum (60 minutes)
- Available on Monday - Friday
- €75 per group
- Max. 16 children
- 2 supervisors per group
This programme focuses on farm animals and life on the farm. Led by a professional play facilitator, children learn all about Farmer John's Farm: the farmyard with the animals, the haystack and the tool shed. Children build, construct, sweep, pet, feed, count and sort. The group will view the 360-degree projection of ‘Boris and the umbrella.’ This programme can, of course, be combined with a visit the 'Utrecht Natuurlijk' petting zoo (not included).

Miffy with the animals
- Visit to the miffy museum (60 minutes)
- Available Monday - Friday
- €125 per group
- Max. 16 children
- Max. 16 parents/guardians
This school programme is specifically aimed at promoting language skills and development in children and their parents/guardians who are not yet fully proficient in Dutch. Together, they will explore all the interactive areas and get to know the farm animals. A professional facilitator will encourage and support the smaller groups as they play. A unique aspect of this programme is that it makes reference to several animal-themed artworks in the Centraal Museum. The programme will take place in the pre-school/kindergarten, the Miffy Museum and petting zoo Utrecht Natuurlijk.
