VriendenLoterij
The VriendenLoterij is the cultural lottery of the Netherlands, providing support for culture and heritage. Nearly 600,000 Dutch residents participate, with the chance to win prizes while also supporting various forms of culture in the Netherlands, from festivals to museums. In 2014, the VriendenLoterij contributed €700,000 towards the realisation of the new miffy museum.
City of Utrecht
Cultural policy in Utrecht focuses on promoting the city as a stage, as a creative space and as a learning environment – three principles that sum up the miffy museum perfectly. As a member of the Centraal Museum Foundation, the miffy museum received municipal funding under the 2021 – 2024 cultural memorandum.
